I am an health behavior researcher, particularly interested in the maintenance of physical activity. I have expertise in intervention design, survey development, accelerometry, and quantitative methods. I am especially interested in developing community-driven interventions that are highly acceptable and feasibly implemented, capable of having large-scale impact to improve public health.
To achieve these goals, I use a variety of research methods, including quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and randomized controlled trials. I am also interested in exploring innovative approaches to promote physical activity, such as using big data science in conjunction with accelerometry to generate novel metrics of behavior, as well as play and gamification of physical activity to promote maintenance.
